Album Description
Hisham Bharoocha (ex Lighting Bolt, Black Dice, Pixeltan) makes up the one-man-band spectacular that is Soft Circle. His live set at WFMU is six tracks of thumping rock that he refuses to call trance music. Wandering, catchy guitar licks are piled on top of thick bass and drums, and tempered by ghostly vocals. His songs range from dark and eerie (see the second untitled track), to the danceably enchanting.
