Artist
Morphamish is an extremely diverse producer who creates tracks, mixes & live sets with elements of all constantly evolving bass music - techno, breaks, 2step, house, dubstep, electro, funk, ambient, jungle, hiphop, hard mentalism and much more. In his own words, Morphamish makes and plays everything “from downtempo, folktronica and hip-hop, to lush steppers, warmer groovers and deepness, to heavy rollers, bangers and straight up nastiness...”
As well as regularly performing live as a solo artist, Morphamish also frequently plays gigs with vocalist/lyricist Texture (Black Lantern), and does dual Ableton sets with producer Tactus (Abaga) - they vary in style but generally get pretty intense.
With extensive experience of playing live in clubs, free parties and festivals all around Scotland and beyond, Morphamish tracks have had support from the likes of:

He started out under various aliases - Morph, Sola Perplexus, Double Helix (with vocalist Texture) - as a live resident at notorious Edinburgh nights Pillbox and Obscene, playing techno, neuroleptic breakbeat, acid house and drum and bass. He has released on Crystal Distortion (of Spiral Tribe)'s Labrat Audiochemicals, on Abaga records, and on Skream Club's Crunk's Not Dead labels. He is now part of the Black Lantern Music, Edinburgh Tekno Cartel, and London's Phuture Motive (who run the Binary Motive nights) collectives, and goes by the name Morphamish for all projects.
Previous collaborations/remixes include Profisee (Phuturelabs), Full Blush (Black Lantern), Anneke (Conquering Animal Sound), MAKO (NoMad), B-Burg (Akira Kiteshi live), as well ongoing work with longstanding production partners Texture, and Paranoise (Volume).
