Howdy! I really enjoy how FMA introduces me to music I might not otherwise stumble across and the FREE mp3s are great. i appreciate what this site has to offer, thanks for all the hard work and creativity of everyone involved!
So people are probably on here to talk about music. I choose the music i like based on how it feels and the chemical reaction my brain attributes to the "pleasantness" of the sound. something that resonates with me spiritually and emotionally is great, but i don't always need a synchronous experience to enjoy what I'm hearing. I appreciate how the right song at the right time influences the course of events in a day such as helping me get through some work or influencing my energy levels.
I dislike the superficial layer that can come with the music listening scene. I might be into music less for entertainment and social purposes and more for aesthetic value and how it resonates with my personally. I do appreciate the social nature of music, however, especially at dance parties! Does this help you understand me better?
