Here are some of the projects we're working on to improve the FMA website. Please chime in with any/all feedback, and if you'd like to join our dev team, here are the details on what we're looking for.

* Recommendation / Similarity engine -- there are all sorts of amazing things we can do now that we've sync'd up with the good people at The Echo Nest. First: a search option where you enter the name of an artist + your search criteria (i.e. how you want to use the music), and the FMA will recommend something similar that fits your criteria.

* Enhanced Search combined with Browse By-Genre (almost ready!)

* making all of the site's comments and blog posts show up in the Forum so that this becomes an even more centralized spot to see what people are talking about in the FMA community

* Integrated Login / oAuth2 so that people can register with their IDs from other sites (Facebook, Twitter, OpenID).

* Hovering over a song name displays most of the info that's available on a Track Page, so that people don't have to visit track pages and can browse faster

* Links to all the mixes containing a song. This would enable FMA members to find mix makers creating similar playlists thereby creating a community among members and also leading members to find more recordings they might enjoy within the FMA.

* Redesign the homepage to allow more room for featured content, and community generated content (i.e. "here's some music that people are listening to now") and this'll definitely include more space for mixes to be prominently featured
